Ever since he was a little boy, Dawson was obsessed with the planets in the sky.

He would look at the stars every night with his father.

"One day, I'll be in those stars. I'll go all the way to Pluto!" Dawson exclaimed.

Dawson told his dad of his plans to fly to Pluto the next morning.

Understanding the impossibility of Dawson's plans, the father thought of ways for Dawson to see Pluto.

"Well, Pluto is pretty far away. Nobody has ever gone there before. How do you plan on getting there?" the father asked.

"I'll ride my bike there!" Dawson triumphantly proclaimed.

"How about we go ride at the park and we can compare the distances?" the father asked.

The next day, the 2 went to the park and biked a short loop.

After the ride, the father asked Dawson if he could bike that loop a couple billion times. Dawson said, "Alright, I'll take a car instead!"

After driving 10 miles to school, the father asked Dawson to guess how many times they would have to drive that distance to get to Pluto.

"I bet that if we drove to school every day this year, we would drive the distance to Pluto and back."

"Just to get to Pluto, we would need to drive that 500 million times" the father says. "Ok, how about I take a plane?" Dawson asked.
