Nastia hadn’t attended school for half a year because she had serious health problems. She had been ill with anorexia. She looked pale, had a skinny body and was very weak. She had been fighting for the life for the last three months and only a week ago she started to put on weight. 

A year ago Nastia was the prettiest girl in her class, and her dream job was to become a model. She was very ambitious, but never pleased with her appearance. She considered herself a bit chubby and wanted to be slimmer.

So she started with the diet and counted every calorie in the food she ate. The process of loosing weight was slow, so Nastia decided to do more sports and to refuse from sweets and bread. Soon she could observe the results of her hard work – she weighed only 44 kg. 

But she didn’t feel happier; it seemed to her she was still overweight. Nastia’s parents were worried, they insisted on regular meals, but the girl didn’t listen to them and started to skip dinner. She needed new clothes, because the old ones looked baggy.

Nastia lost all her friends, as she didn’t want to go out with them for pizza or any kind of celebration. She felt anxious and nervous, she was indifferent to everything around her.

Nastia’s parents brought her to the doctors and they diagnosed anorexia. Things were getting worse and worse for Nastia. Now she was afraid of food and if someone mentioned the food she became aggressive and rude.
