This is Phillip. He is a Hydrurga leptonyx. However, he is more commonly known as a Leopard seal. He lives mainly on the land but also in the sea. He likes to eat krill, shrimp, fish, and penguins.
Phillip and other Leopard seals travel using the California current. This current is a cool water current from the Eastern coast of Northern America from Alaska to California.
During the winter, the current moves north. During the spring, the current moves south.
This is Phillip. But he lost all of his colors!
