To our dear teacher Elisa who theach us about Baroque.
And to our families that we love them so much.

Once upon a time in the early 17th century (Baroque period) there was a little girl called Eden who lived in Italy.

She was the daugther of a burgeoise family, which likes the music and the art. One day his mother took her to the cathedral of San Pedro in rome, there they organized the most important orchestras of the era.

That day she could hear the best music in the world played by very delicate stringed instruments like the violin, the viola, the harpsichord and other instruments like the flute the oboes, etc...

Laura, Lauraa are you listening to me?- Said Laura's teacher. Laura had been reading a very interesting Baroque book which her grandmother had given her,and she had liked it so much that she had forgotten that she was in class. In it she had discovered many things through the story of Eden.

As soon as she started reading, she realized that Eden was very lucky to be from a high bourgeoise family because commoners or people who hadn't money died due to famine and this was due to previous religious wars and a serious economic crisis.

She also discovered that at that time the art was used as a propagandistic way and patronage was very present so composers, painters etc didn't do what they wanted they did what their patrons wanted so musical needs of that intitution dictated what they produced.
