Yesterday was an ordinary day with an ordinary zebra herd grazing in an ordinary field but there was an extraordinary zebra named Zeebe. Zeebe was a very smart, friendly, and kind zebra, he had never been a leader but when Kingfisher, his messenger bird reported,
“Mr. Whiskers the lion, the enemy of the herd is approaching the herd!”

Zeebe heard Mr.Whiskers’ roar, it made Zeebe toughened up and stand up for his herd.
Zeebe thought, “I need to spread the word to the herd before Mr. Whiskers gets too close.”

After the news was known to the herd, they galloped away with hearts beating hard and with legs trembling even harder.
“Mr. Whiskers is gaining up on us, we need to go faster,” Zeebe thought.
Ben, Zeebe’s dad said, “I know what really needs to happen, we need to make a sharp turn to perplex the lion.”

The herd agreed and made a sharp turn, there was dust all over but that only confused Mr. Whiskers for a little while. As soon as Mr. Whiskers called for back up the lions found the zebra herd galloping away. So Maze, a zebra in the herd and Mandie, Zeebe’s mom started to make a plan.
