- What did you do in your freetime/weekend?
We had to work all the time as children.
We didn’t have free time.
We did our homework in the evening.
- What do you think about our town now?
A lot has changed, new roads and shops were made .
-Can you keep up with the technology?
I use a mobile phone.
-Would you rather live in you own home instead in a care home?
I’d rather stay at my home if was able to walk.
- Do you miss being young?
No. I wouldn’t change it.
Do you like the music today?
I listen to radio Ognjišče and watch Slovenski pozdrav on TV
Did you get along with your parents?
Yes but my father died when he was only 41 years old, and my mother died when she was 57 years old.
-Did you like school?
No i didn’t like it because we had to walk to school one hour.

No I haven’t always lived in Slovenia I have moved here from Germany .
2) What are your worst and best memories?
My best memory is when i got married, when I was 20 years old. And the worst is when my parents died.
3) Did you choose which school you attended, or was it chosen for you?
I didn’t go to high school.
4) Did you choose a partner to marry, or was it chosen for you?
I choose him myself. I was 14 years old.
5) What is/was your dream job, and did you achievie it?
I didn’t have a dream job, but I wanted to learn more english.
6) Do you have a life goal, and/or did you achievie it?
I don’t have a life goal anymore.

Where did they live?
Most of them lived in village
If they have lived in another country?
No they didn´t.
How was their childhood?
It was happy, nice but after the second world war it was hard
How was their school experience?
It was good
Do they miss the young days?
No because it is so far back they don´t miss it
Were they married ?
Yes for 52 years.

It was nice because people were closer together

Yes they were deported. Life in the past was great and we think that life in the past was better than life today,
7. When did you move in the care home.?
In March
8. Did you decide on your own to go in the care home or your family decide to put you in there?
They come to the home because they don´t have enough money.
