It was the last day of school. We had spent every day together. This summer was going to be no different.

"Are you ready for our summer together? asked Winston.

"No, I'm going to Oklahoma to visit my Grandma Jess for the summer" sighed Nick.

"Oh." whispered Winston.

When Winston arrived home from school, he told his mom all about his conversation he had with Nick.

"Why don't you write him letter this summer!" exclaimed his mom.

Winston raced to his room to write Nick a letter.

Hey Nick,

How's your summer? Do you like Oklahoma? How is Grandma Jess? I joined a baseball team with Schmidt and Sam. It's a lot of fun! We get ice cream after every game! But, it's not the same without you. Write me back soon!
