One day a poor woodcutter called Ali Baba was walking in the forest. He saw forty thieves stop in front of a stone wall.

The leader of the thieves said "open sesame" to the wall. The wall magically opened and the thieves went inside.

The leader closed the entrance by saying "close sesame" Trembling with excitement Ali Baba waited till the thieves had left. Then he went into the cave by saying the magic words "open sesame ."
