In loving memory of my dad, who always put his family first.

This was Sanjay Jaiswal, also known as my father. He was born on November 10th, 1960. His name means the protector; it was the perfect name for my dad as this story will convey.
This is my dad's side of the family. He only had one sibling. She is pictured standing next to her husband, along with their parents.
In 1985, my dad got married to my mom and moved from India to Utah. At first, money was tight so his entire family lived under the same roof.
In 1993, they moved to Texas because my dad was offered an engineering job at National Semiconductor. My dad worked twelve hour shifts, yet he never let his burden carry over to his family.
My dad was an economical man, in fact he saved enough money to buy his own businesses. By 2009, he had purchased a Quality Inn, a Shamrock, and a Conoco.
Finally, my dad's dedication to his work prevailed. In 2010, he was awarded the top motel manager in the DFW area.
His diligence was not only appreciated by his work, but also his family. From him, I learned how to be thrifty. I also push myself to be as successful as he was.
