When she galloped through, she saw Riley, the Queen of the fairies. “Who are you?” Riley asked Kili. “I am Kili the Warrior Horse and I need your help to bring peace between the kingdoms of Cuteness and Awesomeness,” replied Kili. Riley responded, “You must complete a quest to find the diamond horn of Peace. For your quest, you must defeat the dragon inside the fairy cave by solving this riddle: What camper’s treat is the dragon’s favorite snack? There are 4 clues to follow: Clue #1 is to find the blue flame. Look in every bush for a blue glow. When you find it, there will be a note to help you find the next clue.” “Thank you,” said Kili.

As Kili started her search, she looked around for something blue. Suddenly, she spotted a blue glowing flame in a bush! When she picked up the flame, there was a fireproof note attached. It read, “You must get something to eat where the fairies rest their heads.” So Kili went to the nearest fairy cottage and asked for a fairy marshmallow pillow. Under the pillow, she found a note that said, “Get a drink from a tasty brown river.” “I know there's a chocolate river nearby. Maybe that’s it!” Kili thought. Kili found the chocolate river and got a cupful. As she was leaving, she saw a bridge leading across the river to the dragon’s cave. There was one last note on the bridge that said, “Use me to hold the snack together, and the dragon will be defeated!”

Kili said to herself, “I know the answer to the riddle! The bridge is made of graham cracker squares! The dragon’s favorite snack is s’mores!” She broke off some graham crackers and put all of the clues together. It smelled and tasted delicious! The dragon smelled the delicious treats and came out of the cave to eat the s’mores that were waiting for him. Kili then went into the cave and grabbed the Diamond Unicorn Horn of Peace! She raced back to the portal where Queen Riley was waiting. “You did it Kili! There is only one more thing we have to do. I must use my magic to place the horn on your head so that you will become the Unicorn of Peace!”
When she returned to the war, she had been changed by the fairy queen into Kili the Peace Unicorn. She brought peace and s’mores to everyone! All of the horses gathered together to thank her. Dalton proudly exclaimed, “On behalf of the Kingdom of Awesome horses, I bestow upon you this golden medal.” “Thanks!” said Kili. “It was your strength that kept me alive.” “I have a gift for you as well,” said Paislee. “I present you this rose for getting the unicorn horn to save our kingdoms.” “I am honored,” said Kili. “I could not have done it without you!” They all lived happily ever after in peace.

Once upon a time, there were two sisters who always dreamed of being mermaids. Grace was six, and Isabella was five. They lived with their parents, King Zack and Queen Isabel in a beach house by the sea. Because they lived at the beach, they went swimming in the ocean every day.

One day, they were swimming and saw a blue dolphin jump out of the water and over a small fishing boat! The girls thought that was cool and decided to follow it and see where it was going. The dolphin stopped to talk to the girls when he realized that they were following him.
“Hi girls, how are you today? My name is Blue. ” he said. The girls were amazed and replied, “A talking dolphin! Uh, yes, hello. We are sisters. I am Grace and this is my sister Isabella.” “I think you must be lost, because we are very far from the beach. Can I help you find your way back?” said Blue. “Yes, please help us!” they cried.

As they reached the shore near their home, Blue offered to meet them the next day to go exploring in the deep blue sea. The girls agreed to meet him and went on home. Their parents were relieved to see them because they were late for dinner. “Girls, we have been so worried about you! Where have you been!” said the King. “We were following a talking dolphin and got lost,” they explained. “You knew you were supposed to be back by 5 o’clock! Next time stay nearby and don’t get lost, or you will be grounded,” said the Queen.
The next day, Blue Dolphin led the girls to an underwater cave that had a giant pink and gold clam shell inside. “If you open the clam shell, you will find a magical surprise!” Blue said. When the girls opened the shell, they found two necklaces. When they put them on, they both turned into mermaids! “Wow!” screamed Isabella with delight. “This is a dream come true!” “Now we can really go exploring!” said Grace.

As the girls swam around, they saw some other mermaids nearby. When they got closer, they realized that it was their parents! “You’ve discovered our family secret!” said the King. “How did you find the necklaces?” remarked the Queen. “The dolphin that helped us yesterday, took us to the cave and promised that we would find something magical if we opened the clam shell,” said Grace.

Their parents told them that they were going to wait until they thought the girls were ready before telling them the secret because of the danger of an evil shark named Ursula, who eats mermaids! Suddenly, Ursula appeared with her giant jaws opened to eat them! “Follow me!” Blue Dolphin yelled. Blue Dolphin led the family to the secret cave with Ursula close behind. “I’m scared!” Isabella cried. “Do something, Blue! We don’t want to be shark food!” As Ursula tried to enter the cave, she got stuck and couldn’t go any further. Blue then showed the family to a secret exit in the other end of the cave and they all swam quickly back to shore. Then, Blue went back and pushed Ursula through the opening of the cave, where she had to live forever!

Grace, Isabella, their parents and Blue Dolphin lived happily ever after. Whenever they wanted to be mer-people, they took out their necklaces from a secret drawer to put them on, and presto! They became the only mer-family in the world! Blue led them on many adventures in the deep blue sea, and always kept them safe. The End

Pick Me! Pick Me!
By: Megan Adams, Haylee Chandler, Arianna Jones, Jordan Porter, and Connor Turner
Once upon a time, King Christopher and Queen Elizabeth were having a party to honor two knights for helping win a war between kingdoms. One of the knights had black hair and his name was Jordan. The other knight had red hair and his name was Connor. During the party, the king made a toast. He said that he would give the princess’ hand in marriage to a suitable warrior.

When Jordan saw Princess Haylee, he said, “Wow! Look at that beautiful sparkly pink gown!” Connor thought her gown was beautiful too, but he said, “Her long blonde hair is amazing, and her beautiful face glows with joy!” Princess Haylee thought them both worthy, but only one could be her prince. “Pick me! Pick me!” both knights begged. Both of them wanted to be picked by the princess. “To settle this,” declared King Christopher, “both knights will joust, and the winner will be the Prince!” “I disagree!” exclaimed the Queen. “My daughter should marry the knight that she chooses! True love is better than a silly contest!”
Princess Haylee was very sad when she learned that the knights were going to joust because the loser of the battle might either be permanently injured or die! “I love both knights!” she said. “I have to do something to make sure that neither of them gets hurt!” She went to a famous magician for help, and replaced the jousting poles with magic ones.
The next day, the joust was ready to begin. Knight Connor nervously climbed onto his pure white stallion, and Knight Jordan climbed excitedly onto his black and white horse with a golden main. Connor was thinking, “I am going to win this contest and win her hand in marriage!” Jordan was thinking the same thing.

The sun was ready to set as they backed up and waited for the trumpet to sound and start the contest. “BUZZZZZ!” Both horses galloped towards each other, the knights aiming their poles, ready to strike their targets. Knight Connor tried to push Knight Jordan off his stallion, but when he hit him, his pole turned into a giant marshmallow! Jordan laughed, yelling, “This is delicious! FOOD FEST!” Knight Jordan raised his pole to hit Connor and it also turned into a marshmallow! Still laughing, Connor shouted, “It’s a tie!” They shook hands and walked to the castle.

Princess Haylee had been watching the contest from the stable. “I hope you will not get mad, but I replaced your poles with magic ones so that no one would get hurt. Instead, I wanted you both to know that I love you, but I choose Connor to be my prince.” said Haylee.
