For all of my students.

A noun is a person, a place, or an object.
If you can touch it, it is a noun!

In this book, all of the underlined words are nouns! For example, I am wearing a green shirt!

In my house, I have a fireplace, a rug and chair. My cat likes to sleep on my chair. I like to look through my window to see the plants in my yard.

My rabbit, who is eating a carrot, likes to come to the yard with me.

My house is in the woods. There are flowers and trees in my yard.

Sometimes, I visit my friend who lives in a neighborhood. We then ride our bikes to the park.

At the park, we park our bikes and sit on the bench. We like to look at the clouds and hot air balloons! Rob likes to look at birds, too.

The fence at the park keeps children away from the road. While we're there, Rob climbs trees and I climb on the logs.
