Addie-girl is a very sweet, 

young girl who views the world 

very differently than others. 

When Mama spills some juice, 

Addie-girl sees the outline of 

Jackson, her dog.   When Daddy 

gives her a grape popsicle, 

Addie-girl says it tastes like 

purple.   Mom and Dad always 

wonder what Addie-girl will say 

next...

One summer evening, Addie-girl 

and her Mom and Dad were 

sitting outside. The crickets 

started to chirp and the moon 

shone bright.   "Mama?" said 

Addie-girl.   "Yes Cutey Bug?"  

"I hear the stars coming out," 

she said with her eyes big as 

blue saucers.   "I never thought 

about it that way Addie-

girl,"said Mama.

One day, Addie-girl and her Mom 

were waiting for her Dad to 

come home from a business trip.  

A jet airplane streaked across 

the sky.   Addie-girl spied the 

plane and said, "Mama?"   "Yes, 

my love?"

"Look! Look! Daddy's home!" she 

cried.   "I never thought about 

it that way Addie-girl," said 

Mama.

One afternoon, Addie-girl and 

her Dad went to the store.   A 

man was selling cold chocolate 

candies at a table.   He offered 

a sample to Addie-girl. 

"Daddy?"   "Yes, Peanut?"

"These taste like Nana's 

house," she said with a cold 

tongue.   "I never thought about 

it that way Addie-girl," said 

Dad.
