I'll help you figure this Netiquette thing Arty!

Arty recently received a computer as a gift for his birthday. He immediately created a couple social media accounts and an email. Before Arty decides to use his online accounts, he must first learn how to have good online etiquette (Netiquette). Arty's dog "Pickles" will guide him along and teach him how to have good online netiquette.

Email! You'll need this for everything!

Okay Arty, let's start with Email. You'll use this for almost everything online, so make sure you use it wisely!
Pickle's tips for Email:
1) Have a neat professional email name. Stay classy and have a not so sassy name!
2) Always have a subject for your email! You don't want to be sending people emails and have them not knowing what it's about in the title.
3) When you send an email, always leave your contact info. Let people know how to reach back at you!

Twitter! Where you can express your free thoughts!

Next is Twitter, where an individual can express themselves continuously and connect with other free thinking people using hashtags!
Pickle's tips for Twitter:
1) Don't be afraid to express yourself. As long as your kind, and if it's within 280 characters, tweet whatever comes to mind.
2) Remember to use hashtags! Using hashtags will help you connect with people that have similar interests and thoughts as you.
3) Have useful feed back replies. If you see a neat tweet, reply with some positive feedback.

Facebook! Hey, looks like Aunt Mary shared her favorite recipe for cookies.

Lastly, Facebook, the place where family and friends can share their life endeavors together! Make sure you check it for updates among your friends and local community.
Pickle's tips for Facebook:
1) Make sure to support your friends by liking a post that you enjoy. One like can go a long way.
2) Facebook has friends and family on the platform. So make sure you are polite, respectful and have great grammar.
3) Make sure to share news that interest you. One share can become popular and others might find it useful.
