Once upon a time, there was a zoo. The zoo animals had just won their independence from a mean company. Although they were happy, the zoo become very disorganized. All the animals had different desires and interests.

We are taking power because we are the smartest! We will be the Kings of the zoo! Bananas are the only acceptable food!

No! Why can't we vote on what we eat!

Elephants are the biggest, therefore we should have all the power!

This is chaos!
Rumors that new zookeepers are coming to the animal exhibit are heard all around. The animals wonder if the zoo will ever be the same again. Everyone, especially the monkeys, panics, worrying that their lives will be too closely monitored by the zookeeper.

Oh no!

There's no need to worry, the zookeepers will end this chaos and restore order. Differences between us can't be helped, but the zookeeper will try to fulfill all our needs.
You should each elect leaders to represent your interests! This is the only way that every animal's voice can be heard in a zoo this big!
Later that day, Barry the Bald Eagle comforts the animals during feeding time.
But how will he know when the pigs want to play in mud? Or when the giraffes need to be fed?

Not so fast monkeys! The zoo keepers have arrived and we are going to make sure that one group of animals won't control the others!

This is our zoo now! we the monkeys deserve all the power!
We'll make sure every animal has their voice heard!
Once the zookeepers arrived, they made sure every animal had their voice heard
The Zookeepers made sure that each group of animals had their voice heard and restored order to the zoo

We elephants want to eat at 4!

The monkeys want our food at 6!

The lions want our dinner at 5!

We'll eat dinner at 5:30 so every animal has their needs met!

In the end, all the animals are happy and pleased with the zoo. They realize the zoo-keepers protect everyone's interests and maintain the peace. They realize that the more interests, the better. They are thankful the zookeepers have the power to control all the animals. Without them, chaos would occur, and certain interests would dominate others!

These animals have so many interests. I'm so glad we have the ability to control the effects of those crazy monkeys. We balanced the peace!
The power the zoo gives us is so necessary and important. Keeping the peace of a large zoo requires strong leadership and balancing out all interests and desires of animals.
