On a beautiful summer day, Miguel and Estefani decided to take a little vacation. They wanted to take a break from school and work. They both decided to go and visit Catalina Island. To get there they had to ride in a ferry. A ferry is a merchant vessel. It was a nice and smooth ride!

As soon as they arrived, they noticed the beautiful ocean. As they walked along the boardwalk they realized all the activities there was to do. For example, they could go swimming, fishing, snorkeling, and so much more!

They decided to go snorkeling. Estefani was really scared because she was not a good swimmer. She was unsure if she'd be okay. The professional snorkeler told Estefani that she could hold on to the rope if she felt like she needed help. She held on for most of the swim.

Miguel was such a good swimmer that he was able to swim all the way under the water. He shared with Estefani about all the cool fish he was able to see.

Miguel and Estefani had a blast swimming with all the fish! Although Estefani was unable to see all the cool fish that Miguel saw, she was still able to see some other type of fish. They swam around for an hour. Until this day, they always say that Catalina was the best vacation ever!
