One sunny day, Oakley wanted to go to the dog park to make friends. Oakley was scared because he only had three legs.

When Oakley got to the park he saw many dogs. Some dogs were big. Some dogs were small. Some dogs had long legs and some had short legs. Many dogs had long tails like him and some had short tails. He saw dogs with long hair and dogs with short hair. He saw many different dogs, but none of them had three legs like him.

Oakley said hello to the other dogs and asked if they all wanted to play a game. Right away the brown dog, with a short tail yelled, "Let's play tag!" All the dogs agreed to play and the game began.

The dogs ran into the open field so they would have more room to run. The brown dog tagged the tan lab. The tan dog was headed for the tan and white dog. It was not long before she got him.

Every dog kept getting tagged except for Oakley. Oakley got really sad because the other dogs were not including him. He took his ball and was about to go home until he heard one of the dogs laughing about his missing leg.

Oakley turned around and dropped his ball. He told his friends he was born without his leg. Oakley told the other dogs he could do everything they can do. He then began to tell his friends that every dog was different.

Every dog is different.
