Elizabeth was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia at the age of 18. Fibromyalgia affects the muscles and soft tissue causing extreme pain and fatigue. She is currently 35 years old.

Her concerns started when she started to experience constant dull aches of pain, fatigue, sleep, memory and mood issues. She went to her doctor after about a month after the symptoms started. She was then diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.

The doctor told her that these symptoms can begin after a physical trauma, surgery, infection or other significant psychological stress or in other cases, symptoms can just gradually accumulate over time without a single triggering event.

Elizabeth told the doctor that she had recently had her spleen removed and hadn't been feeling well since. The doctor figured that the cause of her getting Fibromyalgia must have been from an infection.
