Today's the big day. It's Berkeley Grace's first day of kindergarten. The first thing I do is wake Berkeley up approximately an hour before school starts.

As soon as Berkeley Grace woke up, she mentions she's hungry. While Berkeley was sleeping, I was making breakfast. I made her favorite foods which consist of scrambled eggs, bacon, strawberries, grapes, and chocolate milk to drink. I also packed a delicious sandwich and fruit for Berkeley's lunch.

When Berkeley Grace finishes her breakfast, she heads back to her room to get dressed. She picks one of her favorite outfits and puts it on. While Berkeley is in her room, she brushes her teeth.

It is now time to leave. Berkeley Grace grabs her backpack that is as big as her and gets in the car. We listened to all of Berkeley's favorite Hannah Montana songs. Right before we pulled into the school parking lot, Berkeley expresses how excited she is for her first day.

I walked Berkeley Grace to her classroom. She loved her teacher as soon as she met her. Of course I took a few pictures before leaving. After taking pictures, I kissed Berkeley goodbye and headed home.

Shortly after arriving home, I started doing chores around the house. I was trying to keep my mind busy because I was stressed out hoping Berkeley Grace was having a great first day. After three hours of chores, I decided to take a nap.
