There once was a parrot named Rita. She was very colorful and very lonely. She lived in a pet store.

I wish I knew someone that looked like me!

Rita had lots of nice friends at the pet store, but she always felt left out because she was the only animal there that wasn't white, black or brown.

One day Rita decided she wanted to find other colorful birds like her, so late one night she snuck out of her cage and escaped the pet store!

I'm off to find some other birds like me!

Rita flew for miles and miles looking for other colorful birds. She met a brown and green bird that could swim through the water...

Quack! Quack!

...and a little blue bird that could sing sing a beautiful song.

La la la!

But no matter where she looked she couldn't find any rainbow birds like her! One evening while flying through the city she met a wise, old bird that gave her some advice.

I've heard of rainbow birds like you before!

The wise old bird told Rita she must fly south to the rainforest to find other colorful birds. So Rita flew as fast as she could...
