To my mom and Ms. B

"Hey, whats up Jacobi" said Isaac.
"Just studying for Ms. B test we have tomorrow" said Jacobi

"Oh yeah, a lot of people told me it hard and that the highest grade was a 72".Said Isaac
"Well that's why i'm studying so hard right now, so i can pass this test"Said Jacobi

Decay (Radioactive)

Unstable Nuclei

An unstable nuclei is the balance of protons and neutrons in a nucleus which determines whether a nucleus will be stable or unstable. It's unstable because Too many neutrons or protons upset this balance disrupting the binding energy from the strong nuclear forces making the nucleus unstable.

"Do you think you can help me out so i can pass this test?" Said Isaac.
Yeah, lets go to the top.
Ok, so what about this thing about half-life? "I'm glad you asked." said Jacobi.
the time taken for the radioactivity of a specified isotope to fall to half its original value, that's half-life. A radioactive half-life refers to the amount of time it takes for half of the original isotope to decay. For example, if the half-life of a 50.0 gram sample is 3 years, then in 3 years only 25 grams would remain.
unstable atom loses energy by emitting ionizing radiation. Radioactive decay is a random process at the level of single atoms, in that, according to quantum theory, it is impossible to predict when a particular atom will decay, we call this "Radioactive decay." The three types are alpha, beta, or gamma.
