Once upon a time there was a mermaid who lived deep in the pearly blue ocean, her name was Alana. She lived in a giant castle under water, the castle looked like a mountain.

When Alana got out of the water one day she noticed that her tail had turned into legs. She was so surprised when she looked down to see her tail was gone, but she didn't mind it. Alana took her legs to her advantage to explore. So she asked her parents if she could go out and explore.

"Go ahead, but be careful," said Alana's parents.

Alana was amazed by the sights she was seeing in the outside world.

"It is so beautiful out here," said Alana. As Alana was exploring the outside world she found a beautiful forest. She knew that she had to explore it.

Alana made sure that nobody was watching, as she turned around to check she found a dark cave, that looked like the deep dark ocean. But little did she know there is a dragon sleeping in that cave.

As Alana walked into the forest she she starts feeling a little breeze. Alana gets a little concerned, but doesn't think anything bad is going to happen. As she explores in the forest some more she hears someone talking.

Alana yells "Hello, is anyone here!" Someone responds, but Alana can't tell where the voice is coming from.

She says again "Hello, where are you," and again someone responds and now Alana knows the direction the voice is coming from.

Alana goes to the voice and finds herself stuck in tree roots. She looks and sees that a tree has captured her by her legs. She is squirming and moving trying to get out of the tree roots.

"Ahhhhh," Alana screams as the tree brings her closer to him.

"Why do you come to the forest," says the tree with anger in his voice.

Alana is shaking while trying to answer the trees question.

Alana answers "I am here to explore before I have to go back to the ocean for a party."

The tree nods and says "You are not leaving until someone comes and finds you."

Alana screams, but nobody comes. Alana screams again, but the trees tells her to be quiet.
