This book was written as the practical part of an assessment in Child Studies' which covers consumer implications for children and families.

In Australia, the regulations against junkfood advertisements are really minimal, which means that children are easily targeted as consumers. In turn, this is a problem for a child's overall health and well-being, as childhood obesity is continuing to grow as a problem in Australia.

I dedicate this book to all children who are tempted by products on the television and at the supermarket, as well as the parents who do not give in to nagging!
