Flash the gecko is Mrs. Wilder's class pet. He spends his days in his tank learning with all his classmates.

Mrs. Wilder said, "class get out your number 2 pencils, we are going to write a memoir about a haircut that you've had." Flash took out his things, and said,

"oh no! I've never had a haircut before."

He began to feel sad.

That night Flash went home with Kamryn. He was still sad.

He started thinking about all of the things that he had never done before.

And then, he remembered that he had never dressed up for Halloween.

It is almost Halloween!

He started brainstorming costume ideas.

Flash thought, "maybe I should be a mummy for Halloween?" Then he remembered, Kamryn sprayed the tank with water last night. If I wear a mummy costume the wrappings will get ruined. This plan is a total fail.
