Hello there!

I'm guessing that you have chosen this book because you want to come on an adventure with a playful pup named Jerry.

Well then let's begin..............

Jerry is a small pug with big eyes, a good heart and a very vivid imagination.

One morning Jerry decided to go for a walk.  It was a bright and sunny day and the birds were singing.

Jerry noticed a forest on the other side of the river, so he decided to cross the bridge and take a closer look.

As he walked further into the forest, it became darker and colder, and the birds had stopped singing.

"I'm a little bit scared" Jerry thought. "Maybe I should go back".

Just then Jerry heard a noise coming from the trees.  

"What was that?" Jerry said in a shaky voice.

He listened as the sounds came closer and closer.

"Who's there?" yelled Jerry bravely. 

 "Show yourself!  I'm not scared of you!" 

Just then out of the shadows, a big scary ogre appeared.

"Who dares enter my forest?" The Ogre roared.

"It's just me" Jerry replied "and i don't think this forest belongs to just you!".

"Well what do we have here?" mocked the Ogre.

"A little puppy dog, oh yummy yum,

 I like to eat little dogs" The Ogre grinned.

"Ah! but I'm not a little dog" replied Jerry.

"Not a dog?" questioned the Ogre, 

"Then what are you?"

"Why I'm a fish" said Jerry

"A fish?" replied the Ogre looking very puzzled.

"Yes, a slippery, slimy fish" said Jerry.

"Then why aren't you in water?" asked the Ogre.

"Well I'm a land fish" answered Jerry.

"There's no such thing as a land fish!" said the Ogre.

"I'm an alien land fish, and I can change the way I look,

 We don't need water" explained Jerry.
