Rex is a Tyranosaurus Rex. He has lots of friends, and he loves to play with them.

Rex es un tiranosaurio rex. Tiene muchos amigos y le encanta jugar con ellos.

Rex saw his friends eating doughnuts! He wanted one, but there were none left. 

Rex vio a sus amigos comiendo donas. 

Quería uno, pero no quedaban más.

Rex felt angry and sad. 

He roared so loud that his friends ran away.

Rex se sintió enojado 

y triste.  

Rugió tan fuerte que 

huyeron sus amigos.

Rex’s teacher said there was another way to act when he is upset. 

He could take a moment and breathe. 

Then explain how he feels with words.

La maestra de Rex dijo que hay otra manera de comportar cuando se sienta molesto.

Rex felt more relaxed. He told his friend, Jorge, that he had been upset because he wanted a donut too. Jorge understood, and he shared his donut with him!!!

Rex se sintió más relajado. Le dijo a su amigo, Jorge, que estaba molesto porque quiería una dona también. Jorge lo entendió. ¡Y le dio a Rex la mitad de su propia dona!

Later that day, Rex was on the playground and saw two of his friends on the seesaw. It looked like they were having a lot of fun. Rex wanted to play with them but there were no more seats left.

Más tarde ese día, Rex estaba en el patio de recreo y vio a dos de sus amigos en el balancín. Parecía que se estaban divirtiendo mucho. Rex quería jugar con ellos pero no quedaban más asientos.
