Maria was playing with her dolls when her parents asked her what she wanted for dinner. She replied,

"I want pizza. I love pizza!"

Her mom started to look for frozen pizzas but there were none in the freezer. The only thing she could find were vegetables.

 Maria loves pizza. When she heard that they did not have any pizza, she felt so sad that she cried an ocean.

Maria yelled in anger that she wanted pizza. Her mom said, "Oh well. I guess you will have to try something else."

Her dad gave her some broccoli and told her to try it. At first, she did not like how the broccoli looked. It was a small tree, with round leaves at the top that she could pick off.
