In a beautiful dream, a little girl named Zoey dances through the woods near her home. Her long blond hair floats behind her in the wind, and her dress twirls as she skips between the trees. 

Zoey woke up suddenly.

Visions of her dream dancing through her head.

She dreams of becoming a ballerina when she grows up. To dance on a real stage.

She wants to dance to make people happy.

Zoey sprung out of bed. It was her first day of ballet class and she was so excited!

Her mother helped her put on her costume. A sparkly pink tutu and some ballet shoes.

As her mother drove her to the studio, Zoey's heart beat like tiny hummingbird's wings.

It was still very early in the morning. All the city lights were lit up. It looked like a picture on a post card.

Zoey walked into the room and joined the other girls.

"Good morning, ladies," the teacher smiled. "My name is Mrs. Tawney. I am so happy to have you all in my class."

She stood up. "Before we begin, there are some things we must do,"

First of all, they did some stretches. Zoey watched the older girls and tried to copy them.
