


"I wish my Mom would let us have cookies and brownies for dinner" said Ava to her friend Gavin. "She said we are having vegetables with chicken, which sounds disgusting!"
"Vegetables aren't disgusting! My mom makes them for me all the time and they are delicious!" Gavin said to Ava.



"Yuck!!" said Ava while walking into the grocery store, "healthy foods are so boring and there is no point to eating them!"
"Of course there is!" said Gavin, "wait until you see all these fresh vegetables and fruits that have so much to offer you!"


"But what do these do for my health?"
Ava said.
Apples are very important to eat very often and contain something called FIBER!
You can have apples as a snack or even add something like peanut butter on them to make them even more delicious to eat!

Bananas are not only delicious, but they contain FIBER as well and have even been proven to make peoples mood feel better!
Bananas can be eaten alone as a snack, on top of cereal or yogurt, or even cooked into bread or a pie!
Carrots have lots of VITAMIN A and other nutrients that are good for our health!
You can eat carrots cooked, raw, or even in soups or stews!
