to who ever loves dogs enough that you could trust them to save many.
-Haleigh Seitz

One perfect day, Butterball, the golden doodle, was taking a mid-day nap and dreaming of becoming a rescue dog. Butterball's owner, Tony, was a police officer. Tony always wanted a police rescue dog. But when he got Butterball, he wasn't sure he could trust him because he was a small puppy. Still, Tony would take Butterball to the police station.

Everytime they pulled up to the police station, Butterball would get so excited! He would imagine himself as a rescue dog and at that moment his owner, Tony, said, ''Don't get too excited!'' He knew he wasn't really a police dog, not yet at least.

oh look at little shorty!
you will never be big enough to be like us!
When they went inside, Tony dropped Butterball off at the place were the police men kept the police dogs. When Butterball went in this place he realized he wasn't so excited anymore because the other dogs would tease him because he wasn't a police dog.

When Butterball heard these things, he really did wonder if he was ever going to be big enough to be a police dog. After Tony was done with work, he went back home to lay down and maybe even watch some TV.
