As the clock was winding down, with disappointment in his eyes, Braydn looked up at the scoreboard and could not believe what he was looking at. Once again, they were going to lose the Cocoa Bean Bowl.
Braydn woke up screaming "Ahhhh!". Relieved it was just a dream, Braydn quickly realized what day it was. Today was the Cocoa Bean Bowl.

The Cocoa Bean was special to Braydn, his team, and the town he lived in. This was not just any game. The game was between the Hershey Trojans and the Milton Hershey Spartans, and it was the hometown rivalry game for bragging rights in Hershey.
Even though the schools are only two miles apart from one another, many things set them apart. A lot of it, stems from Milton Hershey being a private boarding school usually for low income families. While Hershey High School is a public school that not only is known to be academically advanced, but also tends to be the school with higher incomes, per family.
Regarding the game itself, this years game was extra special. Not only was it the game’s 75th anniversary, but it was also Braydn's last chance to win the game, as it was his senior season.

Ever since the score posted as final the year before, this game was on the minds of Braydn and the entire Trojan team. They had to redeem themselves, and win back what was rightfully theirs.
The day of the game was no different. In class, it was all he could think about.
The hours leading up to the game seemed to drag on. All school days felt long, but today, each hour that passed felt like three.
After watching the clock the whole day it was finally time for the game. Everything his team and he had worked for, it was now on the line. Braydn was the first to board the bus for the bus ride over to the stadium.

While the day went slow, the game seemed to fly by in a blink of an eye. Coming into the game, the Trojans were clearly the underdogs. But, at the end of a poorly played first quarter with not much action, the game still remained scoreless.

Throughout the first half of the game, both teams battled hard. The Spartans had numerous opportunities to score, but the Trojan defense matched them up, and stopped them each time.

At half time, both teams found themselves exhausted and scoreless. The Trojans however, had confidence. They knew they had a chance and they couldn't be upset with where they were at.

With a renewed sense of energy, the Trojans came out of the locker room ready to score, and that is exactly what they did. They scored a touchdown on their first drive. Now with the momentum they needed, they had the Spartans exactly where they wanted them.

Quickly, Milton Hershey responded, tying the game at 7 points.

For the rest of the game, both teams gave it their all. But with four minutes left, the Spartans would score to make the score 14 to 7.

The Trojans were shocked, they couldn't believe that once again they might lose.
Still the game was not over, but it felt as if it would take a miracle. In less than two minutes, the Trojans needed a touchdown, and they were deep in their own territory.

Time was ticking, but with a minute left and three pass plays later, the Trojans found themselves 20 yards from a touchdown.

Everyone in the stadium had their eyes on the field, the next play seemed as if it was as long as the game itself. The Trojans quarterback dropped back to pass, as the ball sailed through the air, time seemed to have stopped.
