The sun, the sun is here, part of you, part

Of me, so low that we can almost touch

Its fulgence, tender and melodious.

Look, on that rock the goat

Is crunching purple grass it seems to us

It's chewing sun-rays; and on this steep hill,

Listening to the fresh words of the sea,

A silent little shepherd near his flock

Is glad to balance on his open hand

A sky of gold. And all about are bells,

And soon is evening ah, this tranquil thing

That films our eyes with tears

And makes us gaze at you, my mountain land.

When night is gray, and the cricket and I

Are the only living spirits

Beneath a sky now ebbing then reflooding

To the sleepy and melancholy eye,

An old man sings a tale of life; nearby,

The little shepherd listens. The sea glistens,

As if attentive, too, till the song trembles,

And till on the same rock

A white head and a million curls are still

In the long night that is restless with stars

The Plants 

In a spring morning 

I looked out of the railing 

And I saw a field of olive trees.

So simple, but alive 

The lawn was full of flowers 

Of all colours: 

green, yellow and red

carried away by the wind.

OLIVE TREE 

Oh, Olive Tree, you wake up in the morning

 You're still wet and alive

 Oh olive tree, you're like a naughty baby 

With pretty small leaves

With your golden and shiny oil 

I feed my body and my mind

The Olive Tree 

The olive tree is very majestic,

but also very fruitful:

as much oil at will

to be used in quantity

The olive tree is always green

And it has very beautiful leaves:

thin pointed,

They look like pencils.

The Peach

From my window I see a peach tree,

Full of pink flowers, It's really gigantic,

in spring it is ripe and aromatic

and it really has tasty fruit

and then all of them we will eat

All plants are special

Because they give oxygen to humankind and to animal.

Plants are like Friends who give everything

so do fruit trees.

In spring they have colorful flowers

and all around fields are smelling beautiful.

Then, in December they give us

A truly exceptional gift:

many spruces become wonderful Christmas trees

The prickly pear

The prickly pear is like our life, 

Full of thorns, but sometimes

It contains moments of great beauty

With his delicate flowers,

The yellow colours of the sun,

The royal purple, the orange

That resembles the sunset.

With the passing of its flowers,

It gives way to the growing of a

Sweet and tasty fruit.

Natural beauty 

I look out of the window and see: a majestic olive tree, a great mandarin, a blossoming almond tree with all its colour.

Mysterious essences: lavender, rosemary, thyme, juniper and many others Inebriate this landscape and they take me somewhere by a golden ray.
