once a pone a time way back in ancient egypt, there was a pharaoh and his wife. they had just found a skinny kitten, they named him Atkitah. he was going to be the first pharaoh cat.

so the pharaoh's wife brought Atkitah in to the palace. they gave Atkitah his own room and palace chair. and they gave him some food and water.

one day they took Atkitah outside to run and play in the sun. Atkitah was happy as can be. he was learning to be a pharaoh's cat little by little.

Atkitah was so thirsty that he went to find a watering hole. he got so far from the pharaoh,and his wife that they had to call out for him. by now the kitten got so far away he could not hear them.

by chance though Atkitah had just found his way back home,by himself. and surprised the pharaoh and his wife by learning that this kitten is smarter than what they thought.

so the pharaoh picked Atkitah up,and put him on his lap while he was on his throne, because he wanted everyone to see how loved the kitten was by them.

then the pharaoh and the kitten wanted to go for a walk. they found their way out side with sand underneath their feet.the sand felt so good, and warm.

they wondered away from their home.they tried to get back,but they were to lost to find their way home.
