"Don't forget your backpack! And also, have fun at school!" Violet's mom said just as Violet opened the door. "Thanks Mom! Love you!" she replied.

Just as Violet arrived at the door, the school bell rang. Everyone headed towards the door and went inside.

"Hello class! Welcome to school, you can sit down wherever you want to." The teacher, Mrs. Evanson, exclaimed when everyone walked in. "We will wait for the rest of the students!" she said.

Later the that day, everyone went out of the classroom to go to lunch. They were already tired of school, so they were happy to leave. They were very excited because they get to go outside during lunch.

There was a long line for food in the cafeteria. When everyone got there food they ate it very fast. "Wow, I was really hungry!" Violet exclaimed.

Once Violet was done eating, she went outside with some other kids. "Hey guys!" she said. They smiled and played with her.

"I'll be right back guys! I see a really cool flower over there." Violet said to the others. Then she ran off towards a bush in the field to get the pretty flower.

All of a sudden, she heard thunder! "Oh no!" she cried out. She started to run, but then she tripped and fell. Rain started to drip down on to her and she started to cry.

When the rain still didn't stop, she got up and found a tree to stay under. She ran over to it just as a strike of lightning hit the ground. Thunder rang out and she screamed. "Help someone!" she cried out into the rain.
