Everyone in the Kingdom was scared of the serpent ...everyone but one precocious girl.

Emily wanted to be a knight. She was strong and brave and unafraid.

Sure, the serpent breathed fire. But there were people with worse breath. And sure, the Dragon had sharp teeth . But there were dogs in the village with sharper teeth.

When Emily got this letter, she GRABED everything she needed and

headed towards the Palace.

At the Palace the King picked 3 people to go and slay the serpent.He picked Alex (the head chef ), Mr. Hoover the

wizard, and Emily .

After they had all their weapons , they set off for their quest!

After a long time they came across a stream.

They were SO thirsty , so they decided to camp there.

But in the middle of the night Emily heard something....

It sounded like crying,but.. why would

someone be crying?

So she went outside.....

It sounds like it coming from the lake.

As Emily turned the corner she noticed a large creature standing next to her.
