Jocelyn was born on December 22nd, 1995. She was born to our parents, Maria and Miguel Gonzalez. She was rambunctious, opinionated, and just a little spoiled. However, she was the baby of the family for only two years before I came in the picture.

Truth be told, she wasn't my biggest fan. I took up too much of our mom's time, I didn't like the same foods that she did, and I was always dressed like her-- and she hated that.

So, admittedly, we weren't great friends in the beginning. But slowly, she started warming up to me and we became best friends. At some point, she even became a sort of mentor to me.

In true big sister fashion, Jocelyn bought me food, encouraged my various hobbies, and gave me advice with some teasing added into the mix. Aside from this, she was always there for me. She even saved my life a few times.

One of these times happened in the Fall of 2018. I was celebrating the Korean Thanksgiving Festival at UTA but it started storming. I got nervous because I commute about 40 minutes from Arlington to Fort Worth. Sensing it would start flooding, I left.
