Once upon a time, there lived a big big dragon.

The fire that came from his belly can fill a whole city.

He lived near a village called CandyVille.

Everyone in CandyVille was scared of the dragon...

But there was a little girl named Nhyira who was not scared of the dragon.



One day, the dragon came down to the village.

Everyone in CandyVille began running, screaming "NO, NO, NOOOOO!!!"

When Nhyira saw the dragon, she snuck up behind him.

“Excuse me!” Nhyira yelled. The dragon roared. He lowered his head to her level. Nhyira felt the dragon’s hot breath on her face.

“I’m Nhyira,” she said. “I’ve come to tell you to STOP IT!, You’re scaring and bothering everyone.”

The dragon’s breaths quickened. Huff! Huff! Huff! It looked like the dragon’s fire was about to blow! Nhyira braced herself. But instead of fire coming out his mouth, tears began pouring down the dragon’s face.

"I'm so SORRY," the dragon said. 

“Why are you crying?” Nhyira said. “You are the one bothering everyone, burning down castles..."

“I didn’t burn down the castle,” the dragon said. “It was struck by lightning. I would never do that.”

"Oh," Nhyira said. "Are you sure?" She asked.

"YES!" said the dragon.
