Gabby Douglas was in a homeschooling program when she still went to school but now she works in Laing Chows gym in West Des Moines.

Gabby Douglas's career is gymnastics and she loves to do gymnastics.Her first time she did gymnastics was when she was 3years old and she did her first cartwheel and by the age of 4 she learned how to do a 1-handed cartwheel.When she was 6 years old, her sister encouraged her to start taking gymnastics class's.By the age of 14, She moved to West Des Moines.

Gabby Douglas inspires young girls to do what they love and help to stop cyberbullying and also helps teens with lupus.she also has done charity work for the right to play and women’s sports foundation and also has donated item's to the National museum of African American history and culture

Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas is best known as the first African American to win the individual all-around event.She brought USA multiple Gold medals in 2012 Olympic games while being a part of United States Womens gymnastics team.By the age of 8, she won the all-round competition in 2004
