Also known as The Age of Reason, the Scietific revolution is one of the most important movements in history. It started in Euroupe in the early 1500s and lasted as long as the 1700s!

This revolution began after a few scientists discovered flaws in the theories churches had been saying about how the world works. After becoming doubtful of that they were saying, people turned to math and science to better explain things.

There are many scientific discoveries that we can credit to the Scietific revolution! Without it, many of the things we know today would not be understood such as the way our planet (Earth) revolves around the sun!

Today we will go on a small journey and meet a few of the scientists that helped this movement along.

First up we have Nicolaus Copernicus! He was a mathematician and came up with the Heliocentric Conception. This means that the earth revolves around the sun! Not the other way around.

Next up we have none other than Galileo Galilei. You may have heard of him. He studied the night sky and even proved Nicolaus' theory.
