One day a long time ago a father asked his eldest son to take the family goat out in the fields to eat. This goat was very important because the family lived off the goats produce.

The son then did as his father asked, and took the goat out into the fields to eat. After a while the goat told the son he was full.

When the boy returned to the home with the goat, the father asked the goat "are you well fed?" and the goat responded no.

I am still hungry

The father then kicked the eldest son out of the house and asks the second eldest son to feed the goat the next day.

AND STAY OUT!!!

Over the next two days the same things that happened to the eldest happen to the second eldest son, and the youngest son.

The father now left with no sons takes the goat out to the fields to eat the next day. When they return home the goat claims he has not eaten enough.

The father realizing he misjudged his son's, shaves the goat, and kicked him out of the house

I hate you, you bald billy goat

All three sons found magical items on their separate journeys. Each decided to return to their father to show him the items they found.

The first son found a magic table that can set itself with food and wine. He stopped at an inn on his journey home and showed the innkeeper the table.

In the night the innkeeper stole the magic table
