Chapter I

Once upon a time in some far far away place there was a little town. Local people lived their peaceful life: did their craft-works, grew vegetables and crops, and raised cattle. Wars were over and people had only everyday problems to deal with - like droughts, fires or sudden disappearing of sheep from the pasture.

There were many children in the town but our story is about two of them. Marty and Ron were of the same age of 16. Marty liked playing games, painting, working in parents’ field and watching people to imagine what they were thinking about. Ron was nimble and fast, he liked playing tricks on people and working on father’s farm.

Boys often spent time together or with other children when they were free of housework.

Once Rob told Marty that he guessed why sheep had disappeared from the pasture. He said that he had seen something strange in the wood and offered Marty to go there to discover what that was. 

That wood was thick and dark and had bad reputation. People avoided going there if it wasn’t necessary but boys were boys. They were curious.

So, one day Ron and Marty ran away from home in the afternoon and went to the wood. It was a bit dark there but there wasn’t anything scaring. Having spent about an hour in the wood boys were ready to go home.

Suddenly, they came across a high hill with a cave inside.

They felt strong smell and saw something huge coming out of the cave. That looked like a dragon!!! Boys screamed and ran towards the town. Ron was faster so he was running ahead. Marty was running behind him but suddenly stumbled and fell down.

When he raised his head, there was nobody around - neither Ron nor a dragon.

Marty waited for a bit but nothing happened so, he decided to come back to the cave to see if there was a real dragon or only his imagination.

Chapter II

Marty went to the cave.There were some strange voices coming from the cave and now he was getting frightened more. While he was thinking of whether entering the cave or not, a baby dragon appeared. Baby dragon ran towards Marty.

Marty was in terror. At the same time mummy dragon was behind the Marty with a sheep in her mouth.The hungry baby dragon started to eat the sheep. Marty was watching them shocked.Baby dragon offered Marty some meat.

Meanwhile Ron realized that Marty wasn't with him. He was anxious for his best friend so, he suddenly turned back and went to look for his friend. He came close to cave and realized that there was somebody inside. He stepped inside the cave and saw that there was blood everywhere.

Marty was in the hands of mummy dragon, Ron wanted to save his friend and threw a club towards mummy dragon. All that he was thinking of was just saving his best friend.

Chapter III

While dragon was dealing with Marty, Ron stepped in the cave invisible. He passed behind the dragon and started to seek remedy to save Marty. He stepped down to cave to find something. He looked around. Suddenly, he saw a light beam. He went to it and saw a door covered with gold which was very shiny.
