Young Timmy is ten years old and is in the fifth 

grade. He is an only child and lives in the 

country with his mom and dad. 

Timmy gets really lonely and sometimes 

wishes he had more things to do. 

Timmy is home schooled and his mom makes 

sure Timmy learns about the importance of 

health and fitness. 

The main importance of health and fitness 

is running. Running makes your heart 

stronger, it makes you feel good, and 

overall improves your everyday life. 

So Timmy decides he is going to start to 

run. 

Timmy starts to run everyday by himself and 

begins to feel lonely. 

Timmy doesn't know what to do because he 

loves to run. Since Timmy has been running, 

he has been sleeping better at night, eating 

healthier, and his clothes have been fitting 

better! 

After a long, peaceful night of sleep and a 

healthy breakfast, Timmy decides to run three 

miles to go into town. 

To Timmy's surprise he goes by the local gym 

and sees a flyer for a race. 

Timmy jumps up for joy!
