Ms. Crockett: Good morning class

Class: Good morning Ms. Crockett

Ms. Crockett: we will talk about Cell cycle, Mitosis and meiosis today. Actually i will tell you a story about them.

Class: OH!! story time!!

Ms. Crockett: Ok lets start

Ms Crockett: once upon a time there was a skin cell his name was Billy. it was his turn to go through the cell cycle factory. Cell cycle is like a life cycle.

Billy was very excited to go to the cell cycle factory. He got the chance before the other cells in his community.

He was so excited that he started telling everyone some was happy some was not.

Finally he found his friend Milly he told Milly about that but Milly was sad because he hasn't gotten the chance yet to go there.

Billy says to his friend Milly Don't be sad you will go there some day too.

Milly says to Billy Ok Good Luck!

Billy enters the first stage its called the Interphase.where Billy has to go through 3 different stages.

G1 is the first growth stage where the cell and the organelles double in size.

BOOM!! Billy is so Big now.

OWW!! I AM HUGE

Then S in this stage copies of the DNA in the cell are made.the last part of Interphase is G2 proteins are synthesized.

Now that Billy is done with Interphase he enters the Mitosis. Mitosis is like reproduction. And this is where nuclear division starts.

the first stage was Prophase. during the Prophase spindles start to get developed. the chromosomes condense and form Chromatids.

Then Billy enters Metaphase. During this stage the spindles start to align everything and the Chromatids start to assembly line.
