What you first need to do in survival is to get wood. I say wood is very precious because you can make many tools with it and it is very easy to find.

The things that you can make with wood are listed below:

tools, wood planks, fence, crafting tables, sticks, torches, signs, gates, boats , bowls,

arrows, a bow, a shield, and a crossbow.

Once you get wood you can start making tools.I recommend making an axe, a picaxe, and a hoe.

Once you have a hoe, you can make a farm so you can eat fresh veggies each day. You can also grow wheat to make bread.
