
Renfield travels to Transylvania to sell a piece of land in England to Count Dracula.

While staying at an inn to rest, Renfield is told by the inn keeper's wife to be extra careful and she gives him a crucifix for protection.

As Renfield approaches Castle Dracula he notices how dark and scary the place looks.

Dracula greets Renfield and offers him food and wine. Renfield asks Dracula to join him in a glass of wine but Dracula says he "never drinks...wine".

Dracula and Renfield sign the deeds for Dracula's land in England. Later that night, Renfield has three strange women visit him and Dracula . As he faints, Dracula drank Renfield's blood. Dracula then sets off for England.




On his way to England, a very bad storm occurs. When the boat docks in England the police found all of the crew dead and four coffins inside are delivered to Count Dracula at Carfax Abbey. Renfield by this time is crazy and sent to a place for the insane.


Dracula meets his neighbor Dr. Seward at the theater in London. Dr. Seward introduces Dracula to his daughter Mina, her fiancee Jonathan, and Mina's best friend Lucy. Dracula is excited to meet Lucy and she starts to think a lot about him too.

Dracula transforms himself into a bat and gets into Lucy's room and drinks all of her blood making her one of the undead. Her father Dr. Seward, confused by what has happened calls his old friend Van Helsing.
