This is just a project for Mrs. Miller

Mommy I hurt my knee, I think it's bleeding mommy!
Oh no son! Come here and I'll clean the cut out.

Ouch! Mom it hurts

Here sit down son, I'll clean your cut and tell you how important it is to clean your cut

Your cut is inflamed it's when your cells get damaged and certain chemicals cause blood vessels to leak. These things called T-Cells can tell when things aren't normal
Mom my cut is becoming puffy. How does my body know when there is a problem

How does my cut heal mommy?
B-Cells call all of the good guys to get rid of the bad guys. Antibodies is a protein and neutralize pathogens in your immune system.

Son when you get a cut on your body you always have to clean it because it could get infected. Infection is invasion of an organism's body tissues by disease.
Thanks mom. I've learned so much compared to school.

Nonspecific Defense doesn't target specific pathogens. The bandages helps the cuts because specific defense go after specific pathogens like your ear-wax, skin, nose hair, mucus, and tears.
Thanks mommy! Now I can tell everybody at school.
