Prompt One

Every person is born with a twin. One is evil and one is good. Your twin died at birth; the government is not sure which one you are. They make their best guess and send you to one of the territories when you turn sixteen. They choose wrong; how do you proceed?

Prompt Two

You adopt four teenage girls, as time passes, you realize each of them represent a horseman of the apocalypse. All hell breaks loose when Famine steals War’s boyfriend. (War, Famine, Pestilence, Death)

Prompt Three

Write seven poems (or short stories) dealing with the seven deadly sins (not the anime). You can’t use their names. (Pride, Envy, Gluttony, Lust, Anger, Greed/Avarice, Sloth)

Prompt Four

Pick 3 colors, without revealing their names create a short story for each. Describe them in a way so the reader can try to guess what color it is.

The void between the stars,

An endless abyss.

It is the deep ocean floor,

Dark and desolate.

The color of loss and heartbreak.

It is raw and true.

Some may call it empty,

Some may call it bleak.

I call it powerful,

               Inescapable,

                                Unbeatable,

                                               And the most beautiful hue. 

The rebirth of nature,

Blossoming anew.

The gentle hue of spring,

finally bringing color back into the world.

Lily pads,

meadows,

new beginnings. 

Careless words spat in the heat of passion.

Rivals motivated by rage,

Incomprehensible pain of betrayal,

Malice of words and actions,

Staining the world through its thick haze.

Obsessive anger taking hold,  

No one is immune.
