LABRADOR RETRIEVER
~Active water dog that was bred to retrieve drowned waterfowl
~Alert, friendly disposition, fine temperament, and inquisitive nature
~Come in chocolate, yellow, and black
~Used as guide dogs for the blind, or search and rescue

~Excellent sense of smell

~Gentle, devoted dogs that are good with kids

~Noted for their rabbit hunting ability
~Make great pets and companions
~Range in weight from 18-30 pounds and usually about 13-15 in at the shoulder
~Colors range from a blue with black tigering, white, black, orange, or hound type tricoloring

~Can track a scent that is several hours old
~One of the most docile of all breeds
~Affectionate, but somewhat shy
~Nonaggressive and sensitive to correction and kindness
~Excellent pets for children
~Coat colors can be black and tan, liver and tan, or red
GREYHOUND
~Favorites of Egyptian royalty
~Good at hunting all types of game, but best known for speed
~Mainly used in the United States as racing dogs
~Can be solid red, brown, tan, fawn, black, white, brindle, or blue, or mixes of those colors

~One of the best known and most widely distributed purebred dogs

MINIATURE SCHNAUZER
~German breed developed to hunt weasel, fox, badger, etc.
~Good apartment dog and is fond of children
~Less than 20 pounds and only 12in-14in in height at the shoulder
~Coats can be salt and pepper, black and silver, and sold black
PARSON RUSSELL
~Formerly known as the Jack Russell Terrier
~Recognized by the American Kennel Club as part of the terrier group
~Can be white, white and tan, or black and white

~Average weight is 110lbs-115lbs for females and 120lbs-150lbs for males
~Average height at the shoulder over 28" for females and over 30" for males
