This story is designed for to make discussion about human rights with seventh grade students.

Once upon a time there was a girl whose name was Cinderella. Her father remarried after the death of his wife. Her stepmother, with two daughters, started to live with them.












These two girls didn't like their new sister at all. They made her do the housework. Even after doing all the housework, she was not allowed to sit with them














Cinderella decided to teach something to her stepsisters.
And said:
According to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, you shouldn't be treating me like that.





But they couldn't understand and said:
You are talking nonsense Cinderella.





One day the two sisters received their invitations to the ball at the palace. They were buzzing with excitement. Everybody knew that the Prience wanted to get married.







The fact that you are going to the ball for this purpose saddens me a lot.



In that moment, fairy godmother came and asked:
