In Honduras, there is a man with his family of 5. He lives in a small, rather poor town where he owns a farm. He grows coffee, corn, beans, and rice. His job is really important to everyone because he is a big source of food for his people.

One day, the farmer was in his field when he noticed that the soil was getting dry. It hadn't rained in days, and there was no irrigation system. So the farmer thought he would wait it out, until it rained again, like it sometimes did.

But it didn't rain. It didn't rain for weeks, and the farmer began to worry when he saw his plants dehydrated and fragile. He tried to sprinkle them, but it was no help and it left him feeling helpless.

The farmer's crops started to die, and the people around him began to be alarmed. There was no food to harvest, and people had no food to feed their hungry families.

The farmer was also having another problem. When he sells his produce, he gets money for it. But since he can't sell anything, he isn't making any money to support his family.
