This is a camel. Camels do not store any water in their humps, but they store fat. When camels are hungry, they get nutrients from their humps. Camels are known for their adaptation to intense hot temperatures.

Lions are considered the king of the jungle. They are the king of the jungle because they have power and strength. The lions that have a hair on their head are male. The ones who have none are female. The females usually stay and take care of their young while the male goes out to find food.

Next stop...the rain forest.
There be a lot of animals found in the rain forest such as jaguars, monkeys, many more.
Jaguars are in the `Feline family along with a lot of other animals like lions and cats. Jaguars are mainly found in rain forests in South and Central America. Jaguars are known for their speed. They use their quick feet to catch up to prey. They also can be very fast in water when catching food.


Monkeys are very interesting animals. They are mostly known for eating bananas. Although, they also eat other fruits they can find in the wild and also different types on nuts. Monkeys are found in tropical rain forests in Africa, Central America, South America, and Asia. They often climb trees to find fruits to eat. Many people say that monkeys swing on trees but only apes do.

Many water requiring animals such as birds and fish tend to stay in lakes because they are less crowded than oceans and different animals need different types of water.

Flamingos are not considered water birds because they share different ancestry traits with real water related birds. Although, they do still live around water. Flamingos are pink because of the components in their food source.

Turtles can be located at ponds, lakes, reservoir, and, even oceans in the gulf of Mexicop or the eastern coast of Northern America. They have hard shells that help protect them from predators and they can swim very fast to avoid danger.
